This was my first time participating in the Southgroup "Make A Difference" 5k Run/WALK and I enjoyed it. I was nervous, alone, and I am definitely not trained for marathons. But anyway before starting the race I met a young, friendly lady from Pearl, MS (Riley) and she took all that negativity away. The race starts and an older lady and I kept catching/passing each other and she was a big help. She was trained and she says that she does marathons every month.
