This company will rip you off. I worked for this company, and we were "required" by the site manager, Diana, to lie about a vehicle being a run and drive. We were told not to wrap vehicles that were exposed to the elements because "it was a waste of money on wrap". Even though not wrapping these cars would cause much more damage. If anyone is thinking of using IAA Des Moines, do yourself a huge favor and go somewhere else. My recent experience was appalling from start to finish. The vehicle I bought had serious issues that were absolutely not described on their website—details were hidden or distorted, clearly intended to trick buyers into overbidding. Salt lake city iaai listed altima as a good transmission.. NOPE.. it did not move forward or back on its own.. The title had not been changed over and previous owner that i spoke to after, she said that got donor price as a bad transmission in altima. slc dealer iaa would not help.. I called the other locations.. they would not side with that salt lake.. DO NOT SUPPORT THAT LOCATION…. DONT BUY A DONOR

I was promised a pick up time 8am - noon I took a day off work now they say it won't be until 6pm I lost an entire day of pay if they had came at noon I could have gotten half a day of work. Being talked to like I'm a idiot also
