After getting an estimate from another company, I decided to go with Insul-Seal. I dealt with Matt and he was a good communicator. He fit me in soon because I wanted to rent the house after the insulation work was done. The big difference with Insul-Seal besides being very knowledgeable, was their carpentry skills. They were able to create a framed opening to the attic. They were able to vent the bathroom's fan outside. The other company told me to hire a carpenter and plumber to do that work. I would recommend Insul-Seal.

They know you'll be getting the rebate (after all they paid MN Energy to be on the list of approved contractors for consumers to be eligible for the rebate), so they upcharge you the actual cost plus 2X the rebate amount. Consumers end up paying more (yes, after the rebate). My only suggestion is, don't select the company because of the rebate program.

After getting an estimate from Expert Insulation and them taking forever to get me booked and poor communication, I contacted Insul-Seal. They came and did an estimate, did the work, and helped fill out my MN Energy rebate all within 1 week. They are very friendly, had good communication, and did high quality work. I highly recommend Insul-Seal.
