So... a prime example of the health care system exploiting families who pay for health care insurance! Carolina Foot Care Associates - Instride Foot in Statesville NC billed my insurance company $513.66 for the exact brand and model walking boot below. After my in network Cigna discount I am responsible for $256.83 to pay. When I called to see if this was a clerical error I was told.. No, that's how much we charge patients with insurance. Excuse my language but "WTF!"
