I went to IUD because it had a 1 year ultrasound program. I already have a respiratory therapist degree/credential and did not want to go through another allied health two year program. I graduated 6 months ago, and it’s taken me this long to get over the trauma of how horrendous this program is. The owners hire family members and people who are still students as your instructors. IUD produces image-takers, not sonograohers. I had one of the best techs in my city take a liking to me and want to teach me ultrasound properly, but he couldn’t help me with the assignments because they are wildly inappropriate. I contacted Micha Gill regarding the 1 year sonography program, and he gave me the relevant information. I called him again and he was very unpolite and yelled a me over the phone. Some time went by and I thought that I misunderstood the situation. I have high school diploma and radiography education from an other country. I do have Radiography state license in USA.
