The Institute of Lutheran Theology is an independent, pan-Lutheran theological project, holding that God in Jesus Christ brings sinners to repentance and new life. Committed both to Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions, and to deep dialogue with the contemporary intellectual horizon, the Institute works with supporting congregations to educate the next generation of faithful Lutheran preachers and teachers.

ILT is a rare gem in Lutheran seminary education. Committed to the Scriptures and the Confessions, staffed by personnel from several synods and associations - a place where academic rigor and Lutheran spiritual formation both matter. There are several fine Lutheran seminaries in North America, but none with the same ethos as you will find at ILT.
This is an excellent School. My Husband goes here and loves it!
