My cat scratched me 4 days ago and my puncture wound seemed to be getting worse instead of better and spreading over a wider area. I am 100% disabled and in a wheelchair. The logistics of having to schedule a CNA and ride would take at least 3 days with a return home by ambulance. An EMT was at my home within a short time. She conferred with a doctor and a prescription was called in for antibiotics. I am so grateful for this service… everyone was respectful, compassionate and concerned. Thank you so much!
My visits have been very good for the most part. That’s why I continue to use INSTEAD.
Your EMT was excellent. He’s experienced and knows what to do. Very focused and caring. Made me feel comfortable about going to the hospital. Encouraging and supportive.
