I had an appointment for a tattoo on 12-21-2012 with Kevin. Showed up for appointment to find the shop closed for remodeling. No one contacted me to inform. Very unprofessional, recommend that others utilize one of the other high quality establishments in Columbus ( showed up at Short North Tattoo, was taken as a walk in by Matt, received an excellent tattoo at an even better price than that quoted by Kevin).
After months of finding designs I finally made the choice to get my first tattoo! Knowing it would be on my body forever it was a big choice on where to go & I couldn't be happier with my choice of Inspired by Ink!! Many of my friends have gone here so I called & talked to the owner, Michelle and she was beyond friendly & helpful and set me up an appointment with an amazing artist, Kevin! As the owner of Inspired By Ink... – I would like for everyone to know that as the owner, I take every review seriously. Unfortunately, we recently had to let an apprentice go. It seems they have decided to retaliate and ask people to leave negative reviews. While they are false, they can also be damaging. Perfect place for first tattoo – I went to Inspired by Ink a year ago, when I was searching places to get my first tattoo. When I walked in the staff answered any questions I had, let me sit in the lobby to look though their portfolios, and asked about my design. They never made me feel pressured to choose to get my tattoo there. I feel this is important. Great place. – I have been coming to inspired for about 6 years now even just to hang out. i have always felt at home there and the employees have always been great people / artists. a lot of great artists over the years and i can't wait to be back home and visit.
My opinion...... Great shop! – well... im by far no tattoo expert but when i walked into inspired for my first tattoo ill admit i was pretty nervous... within minutes of walking in that feeling was gone once i sat down in the chair and just started talking to everyone in the shop .... ben hatfield did an amazing job on the tattoo and next time i get something done i know exactly who and where im going to get it done ...
Awesome Place! – all these negative reviews are completely false! i was in there and got a tattoo done on saturday, and everyone that was in there were very nice, and very professional. not once did i think anyone was rude as some have said. if your looking for a great place to get a tatoo, this is the shop in columbus to go to. i will get all my tattoos done there.
Unprofessional, Rude, Creepy – I went in with my sister to get a tattoo done, and I was approached by a medium build bald guy with tattoos all over his throat and neck. We wanted to get a dove for our late grandmother who passed. He seemed somewhat interested and then left with our design to the back. Absolutely inspired to NOT get Ink here – The staff is beyond rude and as non professional as you can get. I am an avid collector of ink- Not some this was my first time in a tattoo shop- so i just don't get the tattoo vibe type. I had previously lived in Columbus and visited inspired before and the former staff- was very professorial and courteous. It seems the former staff have all left the shop.
