For the past 6 months I’ve had therapy sessions with RJ Byrd-Cordova. In my opinion there is not a better therapist in Orlando. It’s easy to tell he loves helping others evolve, better understand themselves and he provides the tools necessary to succeed outside of the sessions. I was in pretty bad shape when I first encountered RJ, both mentally and physically! Me being from NY I thought he just wanted all my info just to be noisy, I was wrong on all levels! Today was my last session ( I was with RJ for an entire year ) with RJ and all I can say is he’s a must see and he will be missed! He’s very good at keeping you accountable and getting things done. A lot of the advice is practical, and actionable toward what is going to get you to where you want to be. Personally, he has helped me break down my issues in small manageable steps that I’ll be able implement now and into the future. Would highly recommend!
What I've learned in my sessions with RJ has been priceless! His ability to relate and emphathize make it easy to open up. Opening up allows him to pinpoint what needs to be addressed to make progress. I would refer him to anybody willing to take steps to change for the better by becoming more in control of their emotions. Since working with RJ, my self control has drastically improved!
