I went to this place in 2011 when it was working with DARS (now called Vocational Rehabilitation). The owner, who also wrote the disability policy for Texas, gave my mom punitive advice for behavior modification, like taking away my computer for being on it too long, or putting a lock on the steering wheel and calling Adult Protective Services on us when I ran away after finding the keys my mom was told by the owner to hide. We are now 7 classes into a 12 week play therapy group. Our son is 7 and needed some help with impulse control and understanding personal space. We have been really pleased with his progress and we really love the staff, they are great at working with high needs kids. Play therphy may not be a cure-all but it sure can’t hurt.

Read my post and make your own mind up: My wife and I were looking for help for our 7 year old daughter whom was recently placed on the spectrum. We called Inspire and a consultation was scheduled for Friday afternoon, the middle of rush hour traffic. We were told that space was available. Upon arriving, the director looked my mix (half-black, half-white) family up and down with disapproval and informed us, "we're out of space".
