I think it’s insane that you have an appointment schedule for 10am gyn appointment that you waited 3 months for. You drive 30 mins away to get to this huge hospital only to find out there is no parking and very hard to get parking. You finally get parking at 10:10am. Have to go through security and get a pass. Wait for an elevator to get upstairs only to find someone checking in before so you patiently wait for turn. Has the front desk fumble around with your ID for an additional 5-10mins. Carmen at the front desk was very unprofessional and condescending. I was trying to make an appointment as a new patient and with the information I shared, she said that I should go back to my old ob and then come back. She told me that I was confused and kept speaking over me. I let her know how unwelcoming she was but that didn’t seem to phase a person like her. Originally had an appointment scheduled for a Wednesday they called a week ahead of time asked me to come in on Monday. I said yes they called me. Monday asked if I can come in an hour earlier than my appointment time then called me 20 minutes before my appointment to cancel.
