This place was were all my kids was born and they changed its name OMG
Need to teach security guards some manners. Standing outside waiting for ride after being in er 5 and a half hours. Security guard walks up behind me and accuses me of smoking or vaping. I was holding cell phone and keys neither of which looks like a cigarette or a vap. Need to get their facts straight before they go accusing people of something. Last night someone I know injured their shoulder while playing volleyball. They told the staff there through every step that they felt a pop in their shoulder, couldn’t lift their arm up much, couldn’t feel the heat on their arm when the heating pad was placed on their arm on high for hours before they went to the ER. They should not be allowed to practice medicine. We were warned last year to avoid this place unless we wanted to die and they showed exactly why. It took eight hours for a CT scan while I was possibly septic from a previous rupture seven hours for the results and seven more hours before my first bag of IV antibiotics. After a million shift rotations and being dismissed the doctor threatened to withhold my antibiotics prescription and told me to get care at Virtua. I signed myself out. Actually horrified by this experience - my fiancée has adult onset still’s disease and came in with a hemaglobin of 6.2. He had a temp of 100 and was profusely sweating. The dark haired nurse said “you’re fine because my thermometer says 99.4 so you don’t have a fever” I’m not a doctor but that is literally a low grade FEVER. With this disease he gets daily fevers and knows the symptoms.
