If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who's child/family member is struggling with mental health. I originally thought I chose the right place to send my daughter, but boy was I wrong. I did not speak to a nurse or doctor her whole stay. Any conversation was held through the case worker and just because they were not in active crisis, it was alright to go ahead and do it. Went to the hospital late last night was rudely greeted by a very rude women with purple looking hair she took one look at my paper slip and told me I need a pregnancy test and to start calling a guardian so they can transport me she automatically by looking at me assumed I was pregnant in the waiting room didn’t take me back to my own room or anything basically announced it to everyone in the waiting room instead of looking at the other symptoms I put down she assumed automatically instead of treating me for what was really... read more

Absolutely disgusting place. Zero hospitality. -Unprofessional and rude staff -Won’t accommodate dietary restrictions -Will put you in solitaire, restrict you from ALL groups, and then forget to bring you your meals/snacks (which is NOT helpful for anybody’s mental state). I came in while having a major depression episode and had over $200 worth of gift cards stolen from my wallet. Would give this negative stars if I could.

I participated fully in all activities and completed my work, but the overall environment felt very controlling and rigid. Simple ways of coping like journaling or taking a moment to rest were often restricted and staff sometimes provoked me by telling another staff some kids gonna have a hard time in the future referring to me they also corrected students in ways that felt dehumanizing.
