As an electrical contractor when I pay for a permit, I would like to receive it within a few weeks. All municipalities in the area you can walk in and receive a permit after you pay for a simple residential service. Here they ask you to schedule an inspection, even though you do not have a permit how in the hell does that make sense? I have a few jobs right now that I have paid for that have been over three months..

Extremely disappointing experience time after time.They lie about scheduling, never show up, and take zero accountability. We communicate clearly before every inspection, but they still manage to mess it up without fail. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. We do our part, but they can’t do the bare minimum. If I could give negative stars, I would.

IBI must stand for “incompetent bureau inc”. Our power has been out for weeks because we are waiting for a 2nd inspection because the first “inspector” said our electric meter needed to be moved 2 inches. I can’t believe you have to suffer without power and are at the will of this company.

If I could give negative stars I would. Customer service is terrible, they never answer or return calls. When they do actually answer they cannot help and say they have to transfer you to someone else and guess what, they don't answer....Have had many projects held up because of IBI and their lack of communication.
