IBI must stand for “incompetent bureau inc”. Our power has been out for weeks because we are waiting for a 2nd inspection because the first “inspector” said our electric meter needed to be moved 2 inches. I can’t believe you have to suffer without power and are at the will of this company.

If I could give negative stars I would. Customer service is terrible, they never answer or return calls. When they do actually answer they cannot help and say they have to transfer you to someone else and guess what, they don't answer....Have had many projects held up because of IBI and their lack of communication.

As a long time Electrical Contractor in Greater Cincinnati, I appreciate the knowledge and professionalism IBI brings to our projects. My only complaint is sometimes having Multiple Inspectors for 1 Project. Has led to confusion at times. I see most complaints are by Homeowners. Why they are responsible for having their contractors work inspected, says more about their contractor.

I submitted a request and payment of $80 for permit back in October, was told 10 days. Here we are middle of December never got a call. Due to delay, decided not to do the work. Have called and emailed everyone I can find a contact for 5 times now with no response. They have my $ and haven't performed in their end.
