Derek was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to talk to about anything he discovered in the home. Report was very detailed and thorough.
If zero stars were possible, that's the rating I would leave. My roof was marked in fine or fair condition condition and told to seek a professional if I had any questions. Inspection stated no active leaks. Two months into moving in, there is water damage into the second and first floor of my home and I now owe 14,000 on a roof I was told was fine.
Calvin Lee was my inspector. Paid for extra wood destroying insect inspection. There was a huge carpenter ant infestation that wasn't caught. Then I found out the wood in my crawlspace was rotted. Negative grade around the house with dirt piled up around bottom row of siding. Not up to code. Bad sill plate in Crawlspace. He said my electric looked good. So my home inspection was completed by this company haven’t been here even a year and I’ve already had a multitude of problems not brought to my attention before purchase or in the Inspection. One of those being my furnace was completely installed incorrectly by whoever the home seller had install it. In my opinion being a home inspector I thought people were paying to protect their investment.
