Jay noticed a number of things I would not have seen, but there are some things that were overlooked or rated as minor that should have been major. I think his report could be written differently. His reports say what problems are major and what are minor. First, it is subjective. Second, he reported a siding board and the paint deterioration as minor; the bids to repaint came in around $13,000! This isn't minor in my world. Jay did a fantastic job both on the inspection and explaining how some of the more complicated systems operate. Being a first time single family home owner the insight he gave us will help us maintain the home properly for years. He made the process fun and will be recommending to family and friends!
