Had Insomnia Cookies ice cream for the very first time and loved it!! The cookie was chewy and chocolatey. We had the Chocolate Chunk cookie with Dreamweaver and Caramellionaire ice cream flavors. A warm cookie with 2 scoops of ice cream for $9 isn’t a bad deal, especially in this hot summer :-) It’s a small place on Franklin Street and very popular among UNC students. Now I know why! They don’t have much seating, but if you’re lucky, you can grab one of the high chairs.
Order came incorrect. Miguel was rude over the phone and made it seem like we were inconveniencing HIM with OUR incorrect order. They made it right, but prices are ridiculous for what you get. I paid 13.25 for 2 tiny scoops (maybe 8 ounces total) of ice cream and 2 mediocre cookies. Won’t order or eat here again. Keep supporting local business like yo po.
Such a cute spot with the sweetest staff ever. Everyone inside was so friendly and welcoming, and the ice cream is genuinely to die for. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious, and the whole place just had such a good vibe. Definitely one of those places you keep thinking about after you leave. I want to come back everyday!!!!
Tori is the sweetest person I have ever met. She always makes sure that everything is made properly and right. She’s always on time, never has an attitude or problem if I ask for something different. She needs a raise and hope the best for her.
