This is the worse mental health facility I have ever dealt with there is no compassion no concern about the patients well being! I called here as a new cash patient the appointment was set for July 22nd 2026 at 10am I get a text stating if I don’t turn in my information packet by 5pm today my appointment will be cancelled! Brandon was my child's counselor he really liked him and even discussed how vulnerable he was when I had a medical emergency. Well don't have one on appointment day. I had one earlier in the day a seizure obviously the appointment wasn't my first thought. Usually they send an assessment beforehand which is helpful in letting me know there is an appointment. I’ve been referring clients to Insightful Matters because I know they will be cared for and given the attention and compassion they deserve. The director is involved and makes sure everyone who joins this practice as a client is taken care of.

After inquiring about availability for my child, someone messaged me back and the first thing they asked me was for the child's father's information. I was confused because I take care of all the paperwork and will put my husband/child's father on the paperwork. Whatever. We found a time that worked and I asked for a consultation phone call just to make sure it would be a good fit. Penny and Shawn did an amazing job leading the social skills group for my teens. The information they shared was incredibly helpful, and my boys really benefited from the sessions. I also appreciated the handouts and the thoughtful graduation certificate at the end - such a nice touch! Having the session notes to keep for reference was very helpful as well. I’ll definitely recommend Insightful to friends who may need support for their kids. Thank you to Penny, Shawn, and the entire team — your work is truly appreciated!
