Dr. Prohaska isn’t for the faint of heart, she is the perfect fit to help POs work through their trauma, she literally saved my life and tells you what you need to do in order to get better, not what you want to hear. Usually if patients don’t like her because she tells them the truth and they are in denial and don’t want to help themselves or aren’t ready to. 3 years later and I am in a better place than my whole life combined.
Told me I didn't have a copay for 5 months (December to April) then suddenly my insurance charges me a copay for around 15 sessions at the end of April. Now I have debt that I can't afford to pay which makes my life exponentially harder since I'm on leave making 60% of my pay. Just don't bother with this place, imagine trying to reduce your anxiety then getting reassured that there's no copay only to be left with a $600 bill 8 months after you started therapy.
Dr prohaska has helped me immensely. My wife and I have gone to her and she has been immensely helpful!!!
Dr. Prohaska is someone law enforcement in the area use to do fit for duty. She has on more than one occasion used veterans service records of past treatment and not only added untrue diagnosis but ultimately said they should be locked away due to any mental health treatment in or out of the military. What she does to people is disgusting. Her practice discriminates against veterans and is only enforcing suicides and further mental health issues. If you are a law enforcement agency doing the wrong thing she’s your gal.
