Rude staff and a lying Dr Brunson, One visit and I am done make me feel like I am committing a crime no compassion dont want to help anyone just bill your insurance and collect the co pay and you done
In 2909 I was referred to the Center for Pain Management I loved Dr.Holzer, he was SOOO understanding, patient,kind,caring and very knowledgeable. He always took the time to listen to you and never rushed you out the door like most doctors do. He always took that extra step to help to find out what's going on with you and never just pushed drugs on you like a lot of other doctors do. I can't say enough good about him!! That doctor almost ripped off my son's private area. She was touching my son's private area like she is a witch until she wounded my son's. I confronted her and she denied. I don't believe in her as a pediatrician. She broke my heart that day and my baby cannot stop crying all that night. She was my worst experience. I don't recommend her to anyone.
Sad Reflection on Portsmouth – Does anyone realize that this center has NO charity or benevolence programs? In other words, people unable to get insurance just have to suffer. Norfolk has a pain management center for indigent patients, but does not accept patients from neighboring cities. Thanks a lot, Portsmouth. Way to drop the ball! Gypsy, just wanted to tell you that I found out that Eastern Virginia Medical Center in Norfolk will make payment arrangements with those who have no insurance. Hope that helps.

I have never been treated worse by any medical group staff. I haven't had troubles with the actual nurses or physicians, but the way it is managed and the office staff are so bad that it is just not even worth your time. First, the front desk lady (Rhonda) is extremely rude to everyone who walks in. She only helps you begrudgingly and acts like you being there is just a huge imposition to her. good morning. what a disgrace ;-) I have been calling & calling trying to obtain a new patient appt. there's only 1 person apparently that can handle such a request and she & I have been playing phone tag for several days. Wish they were better. I love taking my son here its just when i call about a concern or need advice they never get back to me i had to call 6 times and i still have not talked to anyone. I left message after message but nothing. My son is 2 months old (im a 1st time mommy) and he has not pooped in 2 days i called to see what i could do should i change his formual or give him meds im not sure and i dont like doing anything without asking. but they have not not called back and it is very irritating.
