I reached out and shared some very personal details, hoping to get the help that I actually needed. I was told they woukd reachnout to my 17 year old to ask her if she felt safe since i admitted i slapped her. She was never contacted only dhs. Now i know how to deal with dhs thabk goodness however, the fact that it took 20 days for then to finally communicate back to me in Psychological jargon that did not match their actions. This place doesn't do individual therapy only. I was told from the get that I could get individual weekly therapy for my daughter. 3 hours sitting in the parking lot while my daughter pours her heart out to a stranger & then they tell us she has to do group therapy 3 days a week....huge waste of time but I'm sure they will get that medicaid payment....there's my grievance...

In my experience researching recovery facilities in my work as a documentary filmmaker, I found Insight Northwest Recovery in Eugene OR, to be one of the very best recovery facilities period. An extremely well run program with exceptional staff who go above and beyond industry standards to provide excellent care.

Insight NW Recovery is a fantastic organization. I was elated when I heard that they were opening an office here in Portland. The work I’ve been doing with them has helped me come to terms with my own neurodivergence and how that’s related to my own substance use. It’s never easy to do this kind of work, but the only way out is through.
