My husband was accidentally injured by being run over by our RV. He went to Kingwood hospital and then to HCA inpatient rehab. He received great care while there. Every person there was so professional and took such good care of him. The people there worked together as a team. My husband had over 21 injuries but they were still able to give him the best therapy. They answered all my questions about his care and treatment. My dad has been in rehab the last two weeks and I have been blessed that I was able to spend every day with him. The staff is amazing full of compassion and tons of patience. I would like to recognize Kevin for his great work helping my dad so much building up his strength. Erin was amazing with his Communication. Her kindness and grace was very comforting to watch as she worked with my dad. From the first day I arrived every nurse my family encountered was wonderful.
My brother in law has been here twice. This is the most amazing place! One time, he broke his hip and was able to walk within three weeks! The second time, he hadn’t walked in three months, and was able to walk within two weeks! They were all professionals and really cared for their patient’s welfare.
My sister in law was in the rehab unit at HCA Kingwood for 2 weeks. The place was not clean. Poor infection control practices. They did not coordinate the needed equipment for a proper discharge home. Staff was not helpful.
I'm with my grandmother at this facility. Ive had many experiences with situations like this & the staff here is by far the most compotent, prompt, friendly, & concerned of any I've encountered. My Gram is recently widowed; and her anxiety & fear has been heartbreaking to watch but the therapists & nurses have been comforting, sympathetic & intentional abt handling her emotions & healthcare. I highly recommend this rehabilitation to any family in need of a safe place for a loved one.
