The midwives are amazing during a natural delivery, Stacy Stavlund especially, and the postpartum nurses are SO kind and helpful and informative. They want to teach you, and they sure do give you SO much information. You can tell they're really bright young ladies. I honestly loved my experience in the postpartum suite. The food was good; the nurses were great; the nursery was nice and very secure. I find myself looking forward to my next post-birth stay in a hospital!
The best labor and delivery experience I’ve ever experienced from beginning to end! We couldn’t ask for better Nurses than Abby and Amanda. They were compassionate, kind, caring, gentle, loving! They even stayed beyond their shift until my daughter had my grandson. I highly recommend iNova Fairfax Women’s hospital! Thanks for a great experience!
Terrible and horrible experience: I went in to this hospital as it was the nearest one to me at the moment with contractions 3-5mins apart and water break had trickled. The resident OB and the attending both decided that I hadn’t dilated enough; they measured not more than 1cm (which turned out to be a mistake since I went right away to Reston town hospital where I was deemed 4-5 cm dilated and mind you the drive is 20mins max from one hospital to the other) and was sent away to come back when, “my contractions are closer (w... read more
my labor and delivery experience was fine overall, the dining was a mess, they always brought the wrong things, but im writing this review because of the OBED. A couple weeks after birth i had to go into the obed, maybe its cause it was a Saturday and nobody wanted to work but ALL of the nurses were incredibly rude, i could literally hear them gossiping about patients (including me) from my room. I recently had my first child here. All the nurses and doctors were truly amazing!! Thank you for a wonderful delivery and care!
