This is my second go around with Prostate Surgery; the first was TURP 8 years ago, and 2 weeks ago, Holium Laser, with Dr. Walid Eissa. Despite, an excellent doctor with TURP, 8 years ago, the Holium Laser procedure difference was night and day! Dr. Eissa is considered one of the most seasoned and expert surgeons for Holium Laser, and the results so far have been remarkable. They have no phone number that actually works for rescheduling an appointment and their website does not function properly for that purpose either.
They do not return messages on portals and phone calls when you need them the most to prescribe an antibiotic. I do not recommend them to any patients. You are at their mercy. Go to another doctor that is more responsive and that will have a standard of care.
They take a long time and had an administrative error but eventually tried to make it right. Sounds like the scheduling is a mess but some people up top will try to make it right. Check your portal, keep calling if you have to use them.
Recently switched to a new doctor here as my previous one retired (with whom I had no issues or concerns). My new doctor and his staff screwed up my prescription pre authorization (which I have had for 13 years prior without issue) so badly that it was denied by insurance. Then they ignored/failed to respond to 3 mychart messages and two voicemails over the course of 2 weeks and ultimately I had to pay for this prescription out of pocket.
