Dr. Sisu has been a big help to our family. We knew going in that we would be paying out of pocket for many things, but it is worth it after our disappointing treatment at the hands of our primary care. Sisu spent a lot of time with my husband and educated him, and he was able to get off his cholesterol meds whose side effects were too much. My wife had her physical here, and the billing for the insurance was such a debacle that we ended up having to pay for everything even though insurance should cover it. We are now looking for a new physician, as my wife liked Dr. Steinmetz. It's just that the billing is a punishment for seeing her.
I went to the practice and was pleased with Dr. Steinmetz's care, but I was overbilled by several thousand dollars on services (which the practice corrected). Dr. Steinmetz retired, and I spoke with an unfriendly person in reception who said that Dr. Rose would consider taking me on even though she is not seeing new patients. Its been several weeks and I never heard back. I am looking elsewhere now.
Wow, after reading the other reviews I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one having issues with this practice. Ever since my primary care physician Dr. Jeanne Shiffman left this office has been going down hill. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try another doctor since I have been going there for years. I've realized that the other doctors at this office ONLY care about the money.
