I’m three months out of treatment, and I was hoping by now I’d be feeling happier, but being a breast cancer patient here was an awful experience, and it has left me traumatized. The providers were fine, but I’m giving one star just because this place has serious problems with their phone tree. I called the correct number (listed in my chart and the number my doctor told me to call) and I kept getting directed to an employee who was working remotely for scheduling who mind you, left mid call to tend to her crying baby. Which I understand, I did not mind, but she never even came back. It was so bizarre. I must have waited 5 minutes while listening to a crying baby in the background of the call. I had ... read more
I got totally turned around, should have been in Leesburg VA. Its a beautiful sunshiny and windy day. God is good to me all the time. 🥰
Was a patient at Schar 2 years ago and had a great experience. From the the first time I entered the facility, it radiated peace and caring,including the soloist violinist that played that day at the top of the escalator! Each person of whom I requested directions greeted me with a smile and a "I want to help attitude." That was a great start and it continued. Can't say enough.
