Why transfer ALL employees and NOT have weekend hours. Unfortunate and inconvenient
Since Inova changed their insurance to CareFirst, we employees need to send our prescriptions to Inova Pharmacy. So anything after 6pm; you will be short until the next day or if you need your meds during the weekend; well good luck. My son’s pediatrician send a new meds (antibiotics) but the pharmacy won’t have it until the next day after 5pm, ugh. They said, you can pick it with Inova Fairfax Hospital. It is already an inconvenience to pick meds because I have to drive 8miles so I can get my prescriptions.
First, we were waited for about 50 minutes and when I politely asked why it is taking so long, two staff members at the front (one of whom had long hair) responded in a defensive and somewhat confrontational manner. They told us, “WE DO NOT HAVE VACCINES READY ON THE SHELVES FOR YOU AND WE NEED TO GO RUN YOUR INSURANCE.” I felt that their tone is unnecessarily rude, unprofessional and dismissive, especially when speaking to customers or patients.
