I mentioned that I had a pollen allergy, so the doctor tried selling me on a medicine that would alleviate allergy-related flu symptoms. I explained that I do not get any and that that isn't the purpose of my visit. For some reason, I was charged for three boxes of a medicine that I, first, declined and, second, never ordered. "I had an exceptional experience at this facility from start to finish. I was greeted at the entrance by Tia, who set a great tone with her exceedingly professional demeanor. Once I headed to the second floor, Alex escorted me to the room and was incredibly pleasant throughout the check-up process. If it wasn’t for Dr. Stone, I’d definitely write off seeing any other doctors at Inova. First PCP appointment with Dr. Jan was disappointing. Waste of time. Walking in and completing the registration and check out process feels way too impersonal and bureaucratic for my liking. Some of the administrative and medical staff are rude and aloof. I’ve had better experiences at Sentara and that’s saying something. My experiences with Inova Health System have just been bad.
I had a great experience at the newly opened Inova Primary Care. I went in for my yearly physical and saw Dr. Ifat Jan, who was very nice, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. All of the nurses were welcoming and helpful as well. I really appreciate Inova for bringing so many services into one building, including primary care, specialty services, and diagnostic labs & imaging. It makes getting care much more convenient. Here's a revised message: I've been thoroughly impressed with INova's services, particularly at the Alexandria, Lorton, and Fairfax locations! I'm excited to hear about the upcoming Woodbridge location, especially after some less-than-ideal experiences with Sentara. Kudos to INova for consistently delivering great care!
