I make an online appointment months in advance. I show up 15 minutes early. They collect my insurance card and driver's license. They give me a dozen forms to fill out. I fill them out and hand them to the receptionist. I wait fifteen minutes. They call me to the front desk. "We don't have an appointment scheduled for you." This is ridiculous!
Dr. Bijal Desai is the best, I would recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician. She is extremely knowledgeable and empathetic towards your health, she just naturally wants to consult you to help get better whatever you may be feeling. Even after she moved from Inova Alexandria to Inova Shirlington (which is a bit farther from my home), I undoubtedly started going to the Shirlington location. Dr. Desai is fantastic!
They are AMAZING! They really care about their patients. They even threw me a mini baby shower. I’ve always had such a great experience with them and I’m very glad they were my doctors during my pregnancy.
