Supportive prenatal and delivery care. It was nice to have the option of birthing with midwives at a hospital. They let the mother lead the birth and provided knowledgeable guidance and support. I only wish that they could deliver babies on the weekends and that there were more of them so that they could be a little more present during the labor process.
Former patient of Reston Women's Center, which was recently folded into INOVA OBGYN. As background, I work in tech, mainly with Large Language Models(LLMs) and some Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) on occasion. I have been a patient since the practice was located in Reston, and I have always had a great experience from my routine pregnancy checkups to my annual visits. I also had the best delivery experience with Dr. Shustarovich. There are no words to fully express my gratitude for her kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend the midwives at this practice. Melissa delivered my second baby. She didn’t rush me at any point, instead was patient, kind and funny throughout the entire labor and delivery process. She recommended different laboring positions to make the delivery as seamless as possible and it truly was all thanks to her. Forever indebted to her!
