Highly recommend the midwives at this practice. Melissa delivered my second baby. She didn’t rush me at any point, instead was patient, kind and funny throughout the entire labor and delivery process. She recommended different laboring positions to make the delivery as seamless as possible and it truly was all thanks to her. Forever indebted to her!
Former patient of Reston Women's Center, which was recently folded into INOVA OBGYN. As background, I work in tech, mainly with Large Language Models(LLMs) and some Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) on occasion. Dr. Hashemi’s group here is fantastic. I love the combination of CNMs, NPs, and MDs they have as providers. I’d never been cared for by a midwife before, but after my experience here, I swear by them. I delivered with Melissa Torres in June, and I cannot stress enough how positive of an experience it was. Horrible admin. They were unable to provide my medical records to my insurance company, despite many many calls. I’m paying for an appointment from a year ago because the admin are so unresponsive.
I had the most incredible pregnancy and labor experience with baby number 3 here! I transferred at 33 weeks pregnant after a 1hr consult with Dr Diamond regarding my desire to vba2c (vaginal birth after 2 cesareans). I saw only midwives after that first consult (at my request). I felt listened to, supported, and never rushed in my appointments.
