Somewhere I read the center provided a "home-like" setting. It was definitely NOT that. The bed was hard and caused me so much hip and back discomfort I couldn't sleep well at all. In addition, the room was hot. 73 degrees when I first walked in! Optimum temp for sleeping is 68 which is what I sleep at at home, but their thermostat would only allow you to set for 70. Poor Patient Care - Poor Response - No streamlined Process - Poor Result interpretation. I would like to thank the clinic for finally calling me back to help schedule results review *15 months* after my study. Initially the reply was, since you haven't been seen by our doctor, I can't refer you to a specialist. Even though they performed the sleep study, and I had a referral by another INOVA doctor. The initial results needed a medical degree to decipher, and the included instructions did not even match the crappy results pr... read more
I was a bit nervous going into my sleep study, but Helena was absolutely AMAZING! Sleeping in an unfamiliar place with a bunch of wires hooked up to you is awkward, to say the least—but Helena’s care, kindness, and patience made the entire experience so much better. She was extremely caring and made me feel at ease from the start. I’m incredibly grateful that my sleep apnea is being addressed, and even more grateful that I had someone like Helena there to guide me through the process.
Sending past due notice for bills that have been paid 2 weeks ago. Doing this on a Sunday, when there is no one to talk to. Please respect patients’ private lives.
The receptionist at the front desk of the center located at 8801 Innovation Park Suite 2A, is rude. There’s no other means to explain her tone and behavior towards patients checking in. Absolutely unacceptable for an institution as renowned as Inova.
