Fast, professional and great
The girl at front with a bin on the top of her hair facing the right side at check in clearly has no idea what HIPAA is. Shouting out a patient's info for all to hear instead of asking them to come up to the front desk is unacceptable. Why does Inova hire such incompetent people all of the time?! Came in for a sick family member. The NP seemed knowledgeable, but her bedside manner needs improvement. There was no proper introduction, so I initially thought she was a doctor. Her attitude felt condescending and dismissive throughout the visit. When I spoke a bit louder (because of my mask), she told me not to “yell,” which was surprising given how she was speaking to me. We brought a young child to this urgent care for food allergic reaction, the first time the child had ever experienced such symptoms, we expect UC for a quicker help to avoid it getting worse. After checking in, we waited over 30 minutes with no updates and no one coming to assess the situation.
