I was very happy with my entire experience with INOVA Breastfeeding. Dr. Bodnar spent two hours with us explaining the Anatomy of the breast as well as hand expressing milk. She is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and also creates a welcoming environment and respected my wishes throughout the breastfeeding process. Dr. Daggle also called me on a Saturday to talk to me for 30 minutes in detail about my concerns with breastfeeding. As a physician myself, I believe what they are doing is truly inspirational.
I had an excellent experience with Jennifer B's lactation services. She did not make me feel like a number and was extremely supportive throughout the process. I ended up needing to bring my toddler to my in-person appointment and the facility staff were very positive and supportive about this. I was also surprised by how much education and teaching was able to be performed via telehealth given the nature of this speciality. Thank you!
I could not recommend this facility more!! I saw Jennifer, a lactation consultant, while experiencing latching/breastfeeding issues with my first born. We were able to identify the issues, get myself off and my child off the nipple shield, and get my babies weight up! She was beyond friendly and I felt so comfortable with her. Best experience, ever!
Dr Bodner is a true life angel ! She understood my struggles and listened to all my concerns . She helped me overcome a really tough journey with breastfeeding . She educated me & just when I thought I was ready to give up , things became so much better . I had back to back mastitis & even a hospital visit with reoccurring infections . 4 to be exact in only 6 weeks of postpartum .
