Avoid this place if you value your mental health. They treat their patients like they are nothing but drug seeking criminals. They even have a security officer that sits by the front desk full time. Nice first impression. Based on my interactions with the psychiatrists and nurses here, it is obvious that they entered their profession solely for the paycheck. Not sure if my psychiatrist is representative of the whole clinic or not, but I've been fighting with her for far too long trying to get BACK on the meds i was taking before i moved here. Nor is she able to write a basic letter of support for surgeries i need to get started with. Been strung along for months with nothing but worsening disorders to show for it. Stay away.
Absolutely horrendous. After being discharged from Inpatient at another INOVA hospital (which was great), I was set up here with a therapist. I had an appointment the day after my discharge with her that lasted not even 10 minutes. She didn't offer to set up future appointments with me, instead she said "I don't have anything, I'm fully booked" and gave no other details. I was supposed to immediately be set up with one of their psychiatrists as well because of the severity of my sitatution, but was never contacted. I called ... read more
