I was kind of scared because there were so many bad reviews, but now that I’ve been seen a handful of times, I wanted to come back and share that everyone is nice and competent. I think sometimes people forget that others are getting terrible news, and if it were you, you would want them to take their time and do it right too. Most of the time I’m seen on time and the doctors take the time to answer my question.
Really disappointing experience every time. I genuinely don't look forward to my appointments here, which is such a shame during what should be an exciting time. The sonographers tend to rush through scans and make you feel like an inconvenience rather than a patient. They also press down extremely hard with the probe to try to reposition the baby, and my abdomen has been left feeling bruised for days afterward. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I've been seen here half a dozen times in the last few months, and every nurse, technician, and doctor has been kind and willing to answer all of my questions. Equipment and rooms feel clean and reasonably updated, and while sometimes there's a bit of a wait, I've always felt like I'm in good hands.
Overall I had a good experience at this testing center. The nurses who run the NSTs are wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. They were a highlight of the testing center along with a few of the MFM doctors who were very kind and clear in their explanations. We had a couple of bad experiences with poor bedside manner from both an ultrasound tech and a doctor. Little to zero bed side manner. Super rough with the probe. The technician is in the wrong line of work. The monthly ultrasound is supposed to be special since it’s our only opportunity to see the baby’s growth. Nothing is explained and the whole process is like trying to get it done as quickly as possible. The amount of time that the doctor speaks with us is shorter than our wait time in the waiting area.
