Overall I had a good experience at this testing center. The nurses who run the NSTs are wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. They were a highlight of the testing center along with a few of the MFM doctors who were very kind and clear in their explanations. We had a couple of bad experiences with poor bedside manner from both an ultrasound tech and a doctor. Little to zero bed side manner. Super rough with the probe. The technician is in the wrong line of work. The monthly ultrasound is supposed to be special since it’s our only opportunity to see the baby’s growth. Nothing is explained and the whole process is like trying to get it done as quickly as possible. The amount of time that the doctor speaks with us is shorter than our wait time in the waiting area.
This review is coming a little bit late because I have been sick and fighting for life. My name is Fatmata Bah, and I want to thank Dr. Rebecca Chornock and the entire team that were on my case. On the 22nd of October 2025 I went in for a same day surgery at Fairfax hospital, but things did not work out as expected on that day. Warning: they do not follow your appointment time & expect you to read between the lines and arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment. I had a 3:45 appt today & I arrived, checked in, filled out my form, then I was told I wouldn’t be seen. They said since I didn’t arrive by 3:15, they were canceling my appointment. I live an hour away, work full time & have two young kids at home. I planned my whole week around this scan only to be turned away at the counter. I regret having our anatomy scan here. Nice facility but our sonographer was rushing the entire time. We’re having twins so they knew it would take up to two hours. When I’d ask questions she seemed bothered. Left without any pictures in hand. Had to call to have them email them to us.
