Inogen customer service is the WORST. No way to have a buy-back or get rid of old O2 concentrators. I loathe them. Offshored to the Philippines.
Inogen national tech. support lied to me repeatedly on phone support saying my G4 machine was broken and i needed to replace it. It wad just the columns that needed replaced which is standard fix and upkeep for these machines. They tried to steal $3000 more dollars from me as unqualified wierd tech. Support lady tried to befriend me in a palsy weird way and kept lying to me and not answering my more detailed answers to fix situation. An expensive waste of my money . . . I am limited by 2 hour oxygen tanks to be away from my concentrator. Inogen sales rep claimed I would get 12 hours of oxygen with a Inogen unit. I have had it for almost 6 months now and regret buying it. It was $3,555!! After getting it I discovered a few things -- 1) My Oxygen tank setting is 3 liters, but I have to set it at 6 on the inogen unit (which means less than 2 hours); 2) you only get the 12 or so hours of oxygen from Inogen if you purchase a special battery which is $687+.
