We had Innovative Water Solutions come out and inspect a home we were looking to purchase that had a rainwater harvesting system. Chris Maxwell-Gaines came out to do the inspect. He was very knowledgeable. We were unfamiliar with this type of system and Chris took his time to explain everything to us and answer all our questions. His report was thorough and received in a timely manner. I would 100% recommend Innovative Water Solutions.
I engaged this engineer for a graywater reclamation design, and initially was impressed with what Chris had to say. After I paid the initial fee to kick off the work, they become completely unresponsive. By unresponsive, I mean, 4+ months without replying to one of my 8 emails, 10 phone calls, etc. Needless to say, I fired them via email and they never even replied to that! This was my experience in 2022.
I paid $250 for IWS to inspect a recently-installed patio that I suspected would lead to flooding inside the home. Without so much as using a level, Chris gave the patio a pass. Even commented how beautiful it was, but sure enough it flooded my living room. Thanks for nothing.
YARD WATER DRAINAGE ISSUES This company lied us. Proposed us a system that never worked. We been trying contact them almost a year now and never answered our emails and phone calls. We considering hire a lawyer and clarify this mediocre service in court. I wasted my time and my money and my problem never was solved. Actually my yard water drainage is getting worse. We also were not impressed with this company. They came out to inspect the storm water issue on our property and even gave some verbal recommendations on what they might do to fix it. The person was courteous and seemed legit, so I was hopeful. But then we never heard from them and never received a quote. I sent one email asking about it but got no reply.
