We had Susan Williams come to our home for our consultation. She is very knowledgeable about the Hunter Douglas Power View shades. Susan gave us very detailed options on which to choose from. She showed us many samples, but the winner was her recommendation! We love our new shades! I'm thrilled with my new motorized shade! Our outside dining table is under a covered porch that gets extremely hot and sunny at certain times of the day when we are sitting outside eating. This year we finally decided to solve the issue. After considering various options, we settled on motorized shades and I was surprised to learn that the company that makes them is local in Louisville. This morning, my Oasis Motorized Shade decided to 'sleep-in' (it went inoperative). My home faces east and it was in the retracted position, with the sun bearing down on my array of windows (narry a cloud in the sky). I frantically contacted Innovative Openings and they had Alex Gonzales call me within the hour. Alex coached me on how to 'wake-up' the Shade Controls (literally), and then he walked me through the reprogramming of the Remote Control. Excellent customer service. We had a custom header put in and some tricky, untypical sizes. No problem with Innovative Openings. They made it work. The blinds look great. I especially love our electric powered blinds. Just push a button! If my budget allowed, I would have done them all with electric.

I absolutely love my patio shades by Innovative Openings. They are first class craftsmanship with quality materials. From measurement to installation the employees were excellent. These shades are so quiet as the raise and lower I have to check to make sure they are working. Best of all, I can now sit on my patio in the heat of the day and be comfortable with the 93% light blocking (not to mention more privacy.) I highly recommend this company. It is worth the higher price for the quality I got in return.
