Not quite sure why you accept referrals for testing then "shake the dust off your feet" when time to discuss the results. If you are a "concierge practice" then say that upfront BEFORE THE TESTS ARE DONE. Patients should have the courtesy/choice of getting a referral to a non-concierge practice. I pay for medical insurance so I'm not in a position to pay you $2800/year membership. Dr Bhasin & Nurse Practitioner Burmeister, are Outstanding Cardiology professionals. They are proactive and detailed, As they discovered two nearly blocked arteries requiring two stents at the Sentara Heart Hospital. They truly care for their patients. I was treated so professionally that I had my wife become a patient of theirs as well.
Dr. Bhasin is an extremely knowledgeable and professional cardiologist. The thing I appreciate the most about him, though, is that he truly cares. He called me at home at 7:00 on a Friday night to make sure I had filled an important prescription. When he found out the pharmacy had not filled it, he and his nurse called the pharmacy and fixed the problem so that I could take it that evening. I think that is remarkable. He is, in my opinion, the best cardiologist in Tidewater. Plus, he's a great guy!
