My daughter, a friend and I took the Innova Bristol Sharpie 500 Tour, just this last weekend August 23, 2008. We where not notified that our Hotel had changed, found out after driving 10 hrs and over 500 miles. Went to the hotel stated on our package material and was told of the change by the original hotel staff not Innova. Finally after finding the correct hotel we check in only to find a LETTER, not a person waiting for us that stated we would not get the Hospitality & Pit Tour portion of our package and we would get a re... read more
We used Innova for the first time for the Brickyard 2007. The hotel was changed right before we arrived and some people were not notified of the change. The seats were not where we were told they would be and there was no breakfast in our hospitality area, which we expected. Altogether there were just too many things that were not as described. The people who were supposed to be with us had quit suddenly and someone was sent from Raleigh to go with us and he seemed completely clueless and disinterested.I complained about all... read more
Like other reviewers, I was burned by promises made in the contract and not kept up. I, on the other hand was not given a letter nor was an email received "before your plane even lands on Sunday" - The owner is the only employee as of July this year and continues to deceive customers. Not received: Commemorative program (we too had to buy our own) Pit Passes (one of the ringers for picking this company/tour) Hospitality tent (yeah - we had to pay for our own food and drinks that day!!!) Greta time had by all at the Kentucky Derby. First class all the way, thank you INNOVA.
First time Ive used a tour company and never will again! They over charged my credit card, was told several times they refunded it and didnt, had too turn them in to the credit card company for charging an amount without my approval then received the refund. Theyre were 6 people in our group and they put 4 in 1 room it was terrible, when we complained they told us we got what we paid for, but everyone we spoke to paid the same amount for 2 people in each room. Used Innova, Chad, for a program at the Final Four and everything went well but the seating wasnt sequential seating which was of primary importance to the client and this was made clear to Chad at Innova - didnt happen. Used them for the Kentucky Derby, and this time I confirmed both verbally, via a signed contract, and follow-up emails, Section C318, row C, seats, 3,4,5,6, - didnt happen, received section 314 - that is not what the client wanted.
