Innerspace was integral in helping me diagnose and treat my mental condition. The therapists and physicians are compassionate and caring. I felt very secure and comfortable during each session. I must say Innerspace was an extremely positive experience. I recommend Innerspace to anyone who is suffering with any form of mental illness.
I can only speak to the adult IOP/PHP program, but my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Despite some of the older, more critical reviews, the current psychologist, Dr. Akunna, is excellent. The staff is also very respectful of gender identities and preferred names — I’ve even seen therapists gently correct each other when the wrong pronoun was used by mistake. My daughter only had 2 sessions here , her name is My’Unique , when i say the people here made myself and my daughter very comfortable , im speaking nothing but the truth , they take their time with the patient & the patients family member their communication with you is amazing you will never feel like your confused and don’t know what’s going on with your child , they made me feel very safe and that i could trust them with the well being of my child, Dani was super amazing, due to our insurance change we couldn’t move forw... read more
Honestly it’s a really nice place. But the psychiatrist is actually horrific and should never be working with people with Complex mental illness. I didn’t end up graduating from the program because of that psychiatrist. a week before I was about to graduate I ran out of my medication but the other psychiatrist I was seeing with them was not there. (Before switching to this psychiatrist I was seeing the really horrible one) I demanded a switch because the other psychiatrist treated me like I’m not a human. I was not made awar... read more
