Had two appointments with Amanda Gionfriddo. During the first appointment we discussed my issues with drug use and alcohol dependency, as well as my family’s history of drug use. When I came in for my second appointment, she for some reason began discussing how her and her friends had constantly seen a homeless man on Main Street in Middletown. Wish I had read the reviews before I wasted time in a pointless email exchange with a “therapist” here. I made it clear I was not interested in talk therapy, only EMDR, Melissa completely disregarded that and tried to rope me into endless CBT then said we aren’t a good match when I called her out on it. 🤣. sorry I won’t let you make money off extending my suffering, I’m actually trying to heal myself.
It’s wonderful to have a therapist I connect with in a way that allows my concerns to be addressed, I am relieved and feel empowered. Thank you Shevonne
