This was a totally unexpected visit. We appreciated the excellent service and quick attention to any request. The room was so comfortable and perfect. The porches were lovely to relax on and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were impeccable with the service they provided. Could not have improved a thing. We will return.
Wedding date was double-booked after paying save-the-date deposit with no communication for 2-months. We toured the venue early April 2025 with wedding coordinator Jennifer Byrum and loved the Inn and the Mulberry Sound space. Jennifer took notes on a legal pad with all of our details during the tour and promised us a great planning experience, open communication, and that they only book a limited number of weddings each year so each event can have the best service possible. I will start off by saying Edenton is a lovely and peaceful town with lots of history and kind people. The location of the Inn is perfect for easy walking to downtown and the water. The Inn is a different story. Room 16 The Pembroke. The room was boring and was not very welcoming. The patio was awful, as the doors into the inn from the patio needed power washed and it was unaccepted to sit out there with green mold. We just spent 6 nights here. Our room was GREAT. It had a big seating area. We have an adjustable bed at home, so I usually don't sleep well when I have a bed that isn't adjustable. This bed was GREAT and I slept good every night. The service we received was outstanding. I gave 4 stars because typically when we stay at a B&B we meet the owners and they tell a little about the area and things to do, but we never met the owner of this Inn. Also, the food variety could have been better. We had ham every morning.
Loved this stay! Great support from front office wonderful breakfast both mornings. Good sleep with restful time!
