The Inn at the Biltmore treats you like a Vanderbilt. Great service, lovely rooms, and incredible food. The view of the mountains and the forests is tremendous.
Not Handicap Friendly I had always wanted to go tour The Biltmore Estate so a few years ago hubby and I went just before the holidays. The grounds and part of the house that I saw were absolutely beautiful. I say "part" of the house because it was pointed out to me by the staff that they had rather I not take the tour of the basement level. Their reason being that I was on crutches and would be slower than the other tourist. I've been using crutches for nearly 40 years and found this treatment to be extremely rude and totall... read more
Plan for a whole day's trip For anyone that visited Biltmore while growing up, it is worth a trip back. The house is at its most spectacular during the Christmas season, but spring is when the gardens are in full bloom. The tour is interesting and there is plenty to do while waiting to go in the house. The greenhouse is amazing, the shops offer more than just trinkets and the winery is better than expected. There a lots of types of wine you can only buy on the Estate and those are their best wines by far. Definitely take a w... read more

Flower Festival is awesome! The Biltmore house has huge gardens with a wide variety of beautiful plants, especially during their flower festival... I highly recommend visiting in the Spring!
Great local attraction The Biltmore House has a lot to offer. If you buy the annual pass you can visit anytime and enjoy all seasons it has to offer. The annual allows you to see the beautiful flowers, Christmas decorations and you can also participate in the many activities the Biltmore house has all throughout the year.
Just wonderful Going to the Biltmore House is always great fun. Even if it is raining and cold. I have been going the the House since I was a little girl and it has been great to see the progression through out the years. Love it!!!
Biltmore Estate The Biltmore is great any time of the year -- but you absolutely have to see it at Christmastime! Each room has at least one Christmas tree and the decorations are ravishing. Be sure to eat in the on-site restaurant where each table used to be a horse stall. Very unique. A must see for history buffs.
Elegant but homey More rooms than you can imagine, but you can see that people actually lived here. By all means rent the commentary to get the full flavor of the house and the people who lived here. Leave plenty of time so you can visit all the areas of the estate.
