Arrived here and greeted by the valet parking staff who were very friendly and charming and delivered our luggage to our rooms. The rooms were an ok size and water dispensers and ice machines were on each floor. The hotel is in a good location right by the pier and near the Cool Cat Café but there can be a bit of outside noise. We found the rooftop layout a bit confusing as there was a bar area, plunge pool and restaurant and not sure which furniture was for which and who was responsible for each area. We are Diamond level Hilton members. The location was great, right in the middle of downtown, easy walk to beach, pier, and restaurants. Our room however was very noisy. Street noise, very load AC unit. We were not offered an upgrade so had a balcony room with a view of an empty parking lot. The beds although not terrible were much to soft for my liking. Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Cleaning Standards – August 2–5 I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at Pismo Beach from August 2–5, and unfortunately, the experience was not up to Hilton standards — especially when it came to cleanliness and service.
