We dined at the Inlet on this past Friday.We both ordered the lobster special,that came with soup or salad,lobster,vegetables,starch and dessert.The food was fabulous.The best french fried we've ever had.We were too full to eat the dessert,so we asked to take it home.When we got our check,we found that we were charged for 2 "to goes." I find this rather odd.
We have been to the Inlet Cafe many times. The food AND service have always been excellent. Watching the sun set and moon rise from the outer deck is enchanting. If I do have one complaint it's parking . After labor day there is no valet parking . Yesterday it was so crowded we had to park three blocks away . I would give them more than five stars if this review allowed . I strongly recommend making a reservation as wait times without a reservation can be over an hour and a half . You will NOT be disappointed.
The food is really good and the scenery just adds to the experience!
Usually a very good experience. Went yesterday ( Sunday 9/17) for lunch and it was maybe 3/4 full. Most waiters and waitresses seemed to be engaging their customers and being friendly. My wife and I drew the short straw. Ordered cocktail and appetizer first and when it was deliver our waitress pressed us for the main course, saying it would be a while before it came. Great place! Had a party there Saturday it was the best👍
We come often, it's a great place and we will be back often. It's something we look forward to each summer.
