I would avoid Inland Capital at all costs. I invested in one of their Delaware Statutory Trusts (****) and after 13 years only got back about half of what I invested. I was hoping for a capital gain, not a huge capital loss. In my opinion, they either paid way too much for the properties that they bundled together, or did a poor job selling the properties. I realize covid had some impact but this was the worst personal investment I ever made.
We received a notice of a late bill more than 2.5 years after moving out of an apartment complex ******, ********. We messaged ****** ****** for additional information. Not only was she rude and aggressive in her written responses (which we have saved), but she failed to produce any evidence of the original charge. I rent a 2 bedroom at odyssey of *************. My rent is now $500 more than what a 2 bedroom is renting for now. I tried to get some kind of solution to the issue but was told I need to move out and move back in in order for this to happen. I should be compensated for the difference and a new lease given.

Tricked into investing in inland, told I could get out in five years. Here I am at almost eleven years trying to get my money out, told I had to be disabled sent a letter from my doctor saying I am disabled. Then they say no that's no enough, social security must declare you disabled. So I called them, there answer " you are to old to get disability benefits. I wish I could leave zero stars. The following refers to the property in ******, **, **********************.These are the most fraudulent, nasty, and thieving rental people I have ever dealt with. We received rental assistance from Monmouth County because of emergency covid issues. Parking is a huge issue here. Cars just occupy spots and never move anywhere. They say they dont have to have handicap spots because of how old they are. So as a disabled veteren that pays **** a month to live. I dont get parking also. Instead cars with no license plate, no parking stickers, and cars that never move get to have all the good spots. Choosing 1 star since 0 isnt an option. Have been getting a run around after they allowed me to be in not one but 2 apartments at somerset in ***** ******* that were full of black mold. My children s stuff was growing mold and we have been dealing with medical side effects from being in there terribly un safe apartments. Terrible company. Stay Away!! They promise to keep your money for a 5 to 8 year period and now almost 20 years later they still have most of it and have spun off lots of it into other companies that the poor investor (like ME!) cannot even get a STATEMENT from!!! These postions are all ILLIQUID and to get out of them you must either WAIT FOR A LIQUIDITY EVENT that INLAND brings (now 17 years and waiting!!) or sell for pennys on the dollar to a 3rd party that is trying to scalp people caught in the INLAND scam. I signed a lease for their *************** property in ******, ******* in April of 21.After I paid over $2500, then they stop responding to me. No communication of any kind for 6+ weeks, from late September til mid November. Several voice messages and emails, with no response. I was supposed to move in anytime during the month of November, and they didnt get back with til the month was half way over. They still are yet to return a dime of my money.This is not a company you want to business with.
