I called in advance to make sure I could donate with the medicines I was on. I came in and the staff took over an hour to clear me to donate even though none of the prescriptions were on the restriction list. They finally said I was fine to donate, but now there’s not enough time for platelets (what I had scheduled and said I wanted to do) and what I’ve done elsewhere for decades.
