As a person that has trouble with mobility issues hearing loss and balance problems. This insurance has been very good to me. Having program to help with the rides to get to my appointments. Awesome program. Staff is useally very helpful during calls and has not once got upset when I had the repeat what they were saying.
Never had any issues with them as long as you tell your providers upfront what insurance you have and tell your doctors to work off the MediCal formulary. I got one of my buddy's on it. He see's the same doctors, specialists, and goes to the same hospitals I do. Yet I have Blue Shield with a copay. Very difficult to work with. I am a caregiver for one of the members of IEHP. My client completed the form for me to access to his medical information when he signed up with them. When I called in to get information his benefits, I was told they could not help me. IEHP changed the policy and stated that this access needed to be renewed yearly.
