The green spaghetti and steak is the best food that I have had in Tyler, TX in the past 13 years that I have lived here.
I have been looking forward to trying inkas. I am from Ecuador and Peruvian food is very similar. Unfortunately I was disappointed with my meal. The food was bland, no flavor. I ordered a mondongo soup, which is my favorite and unfortunately the soup was like a watery chicken broth with tripe. Not at all what I expected. The service was excellent. Very nice and curious. I hate this, but I have to be honest. I wish it would have been better.
I was very excited to try INKAS out because my family is Ecuadorian and Peruvian food is the closest we can get to here in east Texas. I was a little disappointed after trying to eat there twice. There is not much flavor to the food and it does not taste very authentic. I wouldn’t say it’s the worse food, but it certainly is not worth me going back. The food was very pricey. The jugos were not freshly squeezed, the yuca is not cooked properly. Def worth a try at least once to see if you are ok with more bland food.
